Wat Suan Dok

Wat Suan Dok, just outside the west gate of the old city, is where most of Chiang Mai's royals are buried. Although often overlooked by tourists, this is one of the most important temples in Chiang Mai, and plays a key role in the founding of the well known temple on Doi Suthep.
