Samui Film Festival Set For August

Sorry again for the silence. Believe me, I have a good reason for being away from my web sites for longer than usual. However, I should be getting caught up in the next week or so.
In the meantime, here’s a quick update about an upcoming event: While some planned events have been called off or postponed, some brave souls in Samui have decided to put on a new film festival. The Samui Film Festival will be held from August 14th to the 16th 2009. The final line-up of films will be announced in July, but you can find a preliminary list of selections at the web site. August can be fairly nice on Samui, unlike much of the rest of Thailand, which is in the middle of its rainy season at that time.
