Asia For Visitors News Roundup – 6 October 2009
Tue 6 Oct 2009
I’ve made a lot of updates to my various web sites this last month. Firstly, Bangkok now has a site of its very own; BangkokForVisitors.com hosts all of the Bangkok content from ThailandForVisitors.com, with a slightly updated look.
Since its opening three years ago, quite a few hotels have sprung up around Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Some are good value for money, some are definitely not. So, over on Asia Airports, I’ve narrowed it down to a short list of Bangkok airport hotels that you may want to consider.
At SEA Undersea, my guide to diving and snorkeling around Southeast Asia, I’ve posted a story about diving the Maldives as well as a review of my dive boat, the MV Sea Spirit. Also, don’t miss my short video of the Mantas of the Maldives.
On my luxury travel site, the POSH Guide, I’ve highlighted AMA Waterways’ new Mekong River Cruise, a seven-day journey between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap on board their brand new custom-built cruise ship that’s definitely POSH.
