Today’s picture is a rather mundane subject in many respects, yet it’s been one of my favorites for many years. There’s something about the ‘natural’ feel of the stall as well as the display. I snapped it in the hills around Chiang Mai when I was researching a book on Northern Thai street food. The book never happened, but the research is going into Traveling Chili.
